He has also held leadership positions in prominent private sector corporations, including Bangladesh Industrial Credit and Investment Corporation, Beximco Group, ICI (UK), Monem Group, and Coca-Cola. In these roles, Tamjid provided dynamic leadership in fast-paced, high-stakes market environments, aligning people toward a shared purpose to transform operations. He helped these companies redefine stakeholder value, measured through key operating and financial metrics, and reshaped their positive contributions to society and the environment. Tamjid is known for his ability to create people-centered teams, equipping them to thrive in disruptive, rapid-learning environments and make swift decisions to co-create value.

Tamjid has served as a consultant for bilateral and multilateral agencies and international NGOs, including USAID, UKAid, SDC, IFC/World Bank, ADB, GiZ, Winrock International, UNICEF, UNDP, ILO, IOM, Save the Children, World Vision, and Katalyst.
Additionally, he has taught entrepreneurship and enterprise development at one of Bangladesh’s leading private universities: delivering lectures, keynote papers, and moderated workshops on topics such as start-ups, social enterprises, value chains, private sector engagement, public-private partnerships, and disruptive digital technologies of the 4th Industrial Revolution.
